Looking for Movement Champions 2018?
In 2018, Movement Champions has moved to its own website! It’s back, and it is truly better than ever.
Check it out at www.movementchampions.ca!
Movement Champions is in it’s 3rd year, although if you go back to its roots it has been through multiple iterations since my days with the U of A Pandas during my master’s degree in 2009/2010! Over the past few years it has been implemented by Apex Volleyball Club, Misfit Ultimate Club, Thunder Beach Volleyball Club, and now Action Volleyball Club as well as a wide range of individual teams, and individual people out in the community. We couldn’t be more excited as the whole mission of the project is to raise the bar for sport warmups and minimal equipment strength training programs.
While travisdoddsphysio.com has been the home of Movement Champions in 2016 and 2017, this program is growing up, and it’s time for it to leave home. There are subtle changes in each year’s program based on certain program design criteria, so you may find one suits your needs better than another and they’re all worth a look.
Here’s a sneak peek at the site!
The photography (by Aneta Michniak – https://www.instagram.com/anetamichniak/, and featuring model Florence Chan https://www.instagram.com/that.flow.life/) is truly stunning, and the video resources are up a few notches thanks to the collaboration of Cian Lanigan, co-owner and head strength coach at Enhanced Performance here in Vancouver. I would also like to give a shout out to Michael Fung, Registered Massage Therapist, and Daniel Sisson, Chiropractor for their roles in helping make this project a success in 2018.
Give it a try and let us know what you think!
